1. About this site

ExpungeReady.com ("ExpungeReady", "we", "our") is an online directory of attorneys who may handle expungement, record sealing, or comparable post-conviction relief matters. ExpungeReady is not a law firm, a lawyer referral service, or a lead generator. We do not provide legal advice, do not match clients with attorneys, do not accept referral fees, and do not share in any attorney's fees. The information on this site is provided "as is" for informational purposes only.

2. No attorney-client relationship

Using this site, viewing an attorney profile, or submitting a contact form does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and ExpungeReady or between you and any listed attorney. An attorney-client relationship is formed only when an attorney has agreed in writing to represent you and you have signed an engagement agreement.

3. Not legal advice

All content on this site, including state-specific guides, FAQs, eligibility explanations, timelines, and cost ranges, is general legal information, not legal advice for your situation. Laws change. Eligibility depends on facts specific to your case, your county, and your record. Always consult a licensed attorney in your state before acting on anything you read here.

4. Attorney directory data

Attorney profiles are built from publicly available state bar records and other public directory sources. We make a reasonable effort to keep the information current, but data may be incomplete or out of date. Inclusion of an attorney on this site is not an endorsement, recommendation, or certification of that attorney's skills, expertise, or fitness for any matter. License status, admission date, and disciplinary information reflect the latest sync from public bar data and may not reflect changes made since.

5. Contact forms

When you submit a contact form on an attorney's profile, your submission is transmitted to that specific attorney. The attorney decides whether to respond and is under no obligation to take your case. Information you share through a contact form is not protected by attorney-client privilege until the attorney agrees in writing to represent you. Do not include confidential or sensitive information beyond what is needed to describe your matter at a high level.

6. No guarantee of outcome

Nothing on this site is a promise or guarantee of any particular result. Past results of any attorney do not predict future outcomes. Cost figures are estimates only; obtain a written fee agreement from any attorney you consider retaining.

7. Permitted use

You may use this site only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not scrape, harvest, or bulk-copy directory data; transmit malicious code; attempt to bypass security or access controls; impersonate another person; or submit false, misleading, or harassing contact-form messages.

8. Intellectual property

The selection, arrangement, original copy, and design of this site are owned by ExpungeReady. Attorney facts (names, license numbers, admission dates, public disciplinary status) are factual and not subject to our copyright; the original copy describing each attorney is.

9. Disclaimers

The site and all content are provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any listed attorney will accept your matter or achieve any particular result.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ExpungeReady and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the site or any contact with a listed attorney. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the site is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ExpungeReady from any claim or demand arising out of your misuse of the site or your violation of these Terms or any applicable law.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change.
